Trail of Tears

We are joined on this very interesting and timely subject by two experts in Graydon Swisher and Jason Terrell. Both are well versed in all things Trail of Tears and local Native American history.

We talk about the route through Memphis and how the the Federal and local governments sometimes didn’t see the  situation the same way. Graydon and Jason also explain what is meant by ‘civilized tribes’ and whether the members were able to restart their lives after their long and arduous trip.
